OPTION 1
ROME – ASSISI – ROME – POMPEII – MONTECASSINO – ROME
DAY 1 – ROME: Arrive Rome airport before noon, meeting with our English-speaking Tour Escort, pick up by private motor-coach and depart on a half-day tour (with local guide) visiting the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Enter the Holy Door especially opened for the Jubilee Year. We will also visit the Catacombs of St. Callistus. Transfer to the hotel for accommodation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 – ROME: Breakfast. Today enjoy a full-day sightseeing (with local guide) of the “Eternal City”: in the morning we’ll visit St. Peter’s Basilica and Square with the Tombs of the Popes. In the afternoon we’ll visit the major Basilicas in Rome: the Basilica of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran plus the Holy Stairs. We will pass through the Holy Doors in each Basilica. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 3 – ROME / ASSISI / ROME (187+187 Km): Breakfast. Depart for an excursion to Assisi where we’ll visit (with local guide) this beautiful medieval city, including the Basilica of St. Francis (with the Tomb of the Saint) and the Church of St. Clare. Return to Rome for dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4 – ROME / POMPEII / MONTECASSINO / ROME (240+124+143 Km): Breakfast. Depart for Pompeii for a visit (with local guide) of the Ancient Excavations and also of the shrine dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. On the way back to Rome, stop in Montecassino where we’ll have time to visit the Abbey founded by St. Benedict in 529. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 5 – ROME / DEPARTURE: Breakfast. According to your flight departure time, transfer to the airport.

BARI – POMPEII – ROME – ASSISI – ROME
