TEL AVIV – NAZARETH – CAPERNAUM – MOUNT 0F BEATITUDES – SEA OF GALILEE – TIBERIAS – CAESAREA PHILIPPI – BETHANY – MOUNT OF TEMPTATION – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA – JERUSALEM – PETRA (JORDAN) – AMMAN
DAY 1 – TEL AVIV / YAFO ARRIVAL (HOLY LAND) – NAZARETH (111 km): Arrival at Ben Gurion airport; meet, assist and transfer to hotel in Nazareth; dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2 – NAZARETH “THE HOMETOWN OF JESUS”: After breakfast, visits to the Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s carpentry workshop, St. Mary’s well, Cana of Galilee: the site of Jesu’s first miracle, lunch break back in Nazareth. In the afternoon visit to Mount Tabor: the place of the transfiguration; dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
DAY 3 – NAZARETH “AROUND THE SEA OF GALILEE” (30 km – 30 km): After breakfast, visits to Capernaum: St. Peter’s house, Tabgha (Church of the multiplication, Church of primacy, loaves & fish and the primacy of Peter), Mount of Beatitudes, boat ride on the Sea of Galilee; lunch break in Tiberias. In the afternoon, visit to Caesarea Philippi (Paneas archaeological site); dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
DAY 4 – NAZARETH – JERUSALEM “GOING TO JERUSALEM THROUGH THE JORDAN VALLEY” (150 km): After breakfast, drive to the Sanctuary of the Visitation at Ein Karem. Visit of the Shepherds’Field and the Basilica of the Nativity. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 5 – JERUSALEM “BETWEEN TWO MOUNTAINS”: After breakfast, visits to the Mount of Olives: Ascension, Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, Basilica and Garden of Gethsemane, Tomb of Mary; lunch break in Jerusalem. In the afternoon, visits to Mount Zion: Dormition of Mary, the Cenacle, St. Peter in Gallicantu; dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 6 – JERUSALEM “THE OLD CITY”: After breakfast, visits to the Western Wall, Splanade of the Temple, St. Anne’s Church, The Pool of Bethsaida, the via Dolorosa (way of the cross) and the place of Lithos trotos (soldiers throw dice for Jesu’s robe); lunch break in the Old City. In the afternooon, visits to the Holy Sepulcher, free time for prayer. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 7 – JERUSALEM – PETRA (JORDAN) (340 km): After breakfast, depart to Petra for a trip to the “Rose City” of Nabateans; this is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Visit the Treasure, the Theatre and Via Colonnata. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
DAY 8 – PETRA – AMMAN (250 km): After breakfast, departure for Amman and visit the Roman Theatre and the Archeological Museum. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
DAY 9 – AMMAN DEPARTURE: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
