ROME – FLORENCE – ASSISI -SAN G.ROTONDO – LANCIANO – ROME – PARIS – LOURDES – ZARAGOZA – MADRID – FATIMA – LISBON
DAY 1 – ROME (ITALY): Arrival. Transfer to the hotel for accommodation. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 2 – ROME: Breakfast. Today enjoy a full-day sightseeing (with local guide) of the “Eternal City”: in the morning we’ll visit St. Peter’s Basilica with the Vatican Museums (included Sistine Chapel). In the afternoon we’ll visit the major Basilicas in Rome: the Basilica of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran plus the Holy Stairs. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 3 – ROME: Breakfast. Today we’ll visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and the Catacombs, where early Christians were buried. Free afternoon for personal activities. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4 – ROME – FLORENCE – ASSISI (277 km – 172 km): Breakfast. On to Florence where we’ll explore the city during a half-day panoramic city tour (with local guide) including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio etc. Depart to Assisi. Arrival. Half-day panoramic city tour (with local guide) of this beautiful medieval city, including the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli (where “Portiuncola” is located), and the Basilicas of St. Clare and St. Francis (with the Tomb of the Saint). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 5 – ASSISI – SAN G.ROTONDO (430 km): Breakfast. Transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo, hometown of Padre Pio. Arrival. Visit to the places related with the life of the Saint. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 6 – SAN G.ROTONDO – LANCIANO – ROME (156 km – 244 km): Breakfast. Free time. Departure to Lanciano, where we’ll visit the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle. On to Rome. Free time for personal activities. Dinner and overnigh in hotel.
DAY 7 – ROME – PARIS (FRANCE) (flight): Breakfast. Transfer to Rome airport in order to take the flight to Paris. Arrival in Paris. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 8 – PARIS: Breakfast. Full day panoramic city tour: we’ll visit the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elisée, the Triunph Arch and the Opera and we’ll have a stop in front of the Eiffel Tower. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 9 – PARIS – LOURDES (TGV train): Breakfast. Transfer to the station in order to take the train TGV to Lourdes. Arrival and transfer to the hotel for accommodation. In the evening we can partecipate to the “Candlelight Procession”. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 10 – LOURDES: Breakfast. Day dedicated to the visit of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes: the Basilica, the Crypt, the Apparation Grotto, the healing baths, the Esplanade, the family home of Bernadette Soubirous “the Boly Mill”, where at the ground floor it is possible to see the room where Bernadette was born. In the evening, we can take part in the Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 11 – LOURDES – ZARAGOZA (SPAIN) – MADRID (275 km – 320 km): Breakfast. Departure to Zaragoza. Arrival and visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, where there was the first Marian apparition. In the evening transfer to Madrid. Arrival and accommodation. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 12 – MADRID: Breakfast. Half day panoramic city tour including Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor from where we can see the Royal Palace and Our Lady of Almudena Church, the patron saint of Madrid. Continue along the Gran Via, passing through Plaza de España, where we will see the Cervantes monuments. Then, we will pass through Cibelis Square, Paseo Del Prado and its famous museums, Parque del Retiro and the ancient gate of the city, Puerta de Alcalá. Rest of the afternoon at leisure for shopping or other personal activities. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 13 – MADRID – FATIMA (PORTUGAL) (531 km): Breakfast. On board our motorcoach for Fatima where in 1917, Our Lady appeared 6 times to three children (Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco). Arrival and accommodation in hotel. Time at leisure for religious activities within the Sanctuary. In the evening, we can participate in the Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 14 – FATIMA – LISBON (127 km): Breakfast. On board our motorcoach we will travel up to the capital of Portugal. Arrival in Lisbon and accommodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 15 – LISBON: Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic city tour including among others Barrio de Alfama, Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery.
DAY 16 – LISBON DEPARTURE: Breakfast. According to your flight departure time, transfer to the airport.
